Amy Waterman, CNP

Amy Waterman, CNP, began her practice in Hawarden in December 2020. She started her nursing career in 1999 on a medical-surgical unit in Kansas. After returning to her hometown, Amy worked at the Hawarden Hospital as a registered nurse, at Tyson Foods as an occupational health nurse, and in an ICU in Sioux City. After obtaining her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from South Dakota State University, she spent three years working in the emergency room and clinics at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center. Amy is excited to return to her hometown community to provide exceptional healthcare.

She is married to Travis Waterman, and they have four children: Tristan, Emma, Raelyn, and Thane. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and participating in outdoor activities.
