Cindi Rule, ARNP

Cindi Rule, ARNP, is the nurse practitioner at the Ireton Clinic in Ireton, Iowa. She has been providing medical care at the Ireton Clinic for Hawarden Regional Healthcare for over 10 years. One of the aspects she enjoys most about her position is caring for multiple generations, from infants to great-grandparents. Cindi finds great satisfaction in teaching and educating patients about health maintenance and preventive health to help them achieve optimal wellness.

Throughout her adult life, Cindi has been involved in various aspects of medical care. She began working for a urologist while still in high school and has since gained experience in orthopedics, cardiology, post-critical care, hospice, pediatrics, and urgent care.

Originally from Colorado, Cindi moved to Iowa with her husband, Rob, and their young family in 1983. She earned her first degree from Parks College in Denver, Colorado. Later, she returned to school to obtain her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. Cindi furthered her education by completing a graduate degree as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. She is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is certified and registered to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) examinations.

In her free time, Cindi enjoys traveling with her family and working in her flower gardens. She is still married to her high school sweetheart, Rob. They have two grown children: Jennifer and her husband, Brian, who have two children, Sam and Beckett, living in Atlanta; and Tyson and his wife, Amber, who have three children, Madison, Makenzie, and Maverick, living in Hawarden.
