Dr. Richard Andersen, DO
Dr. Richard Andersen is a respected physician specializing in family medicine. He is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients of all ages. Born and raised in Sioux City, IA, he attended Briar Cliff University for his undergraduate studies and Des Moines University for medical school. During medical school, he was awarded the Naval Health Professions Scholarship Program.
Dr. Andersen completed his internship at Naval Medical Center San Diego and his residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. His military career took him all over the country, and he was honorably discharged with a Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal from Naval Hospital Great Lakes in 2015.
