Paul Niles, PA-C

 Paul Niles, PA-C, is originally from Northwest Iowa and has been practicing at the Akron Clinic since 2009. He graduated from Morningside College and earned his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota. Paul holds memberships in the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Iowa Physician Assistant Society, and the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants. In 2018, he received the Mercy Golden Heart Award, which honors medical providers for their dedication to compassionate and excellent patient care.

In addition to his clinical work, Paul serves as a Physician Assistant in the Iowa Air National Guard, specifically with the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa. He was recognized with the Air Force Commendation Medal in 2019 for his role as the Medical Officer in Charge during an Innovative Readiness Training in Puerto Rico and again in 2021 for his contributions to COVID vaccination efforts at the 185th. Paul also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Physician Assistant Studies Program at the University of South Dakota.

In his free time, Paul mentors a youth group at St. Joseph Catholic Church, serves as the Assistant Troop Master for Boy Scout Troop 87, and is a member of both the Akron Lion's Club and the Knights of Columbus.

Paul and his wife, Jessica, have been married since 2000 and are proud parents of six children: Jordan, Caleb, Chloe, Alexis, Addilyn, and Gabriella.
